SATYAM

Why
did a physical therapist place an
enjoyable career on hold and turn
down
an offer to practice medicine, to teach
Born on the
Mountaintop?
In his early years as a physical therapist,
Satyam
always found himself drawn to
the
psychological aspects of illness. In
particular he strove to
understand what
forces create the stress and anxiety that
underlie
so many physical ailments.
In his search for
answers, Satyam studied and practiced alternative forms of healing
while traveling in India. Sitting across from
his patients, he realized that there is something fundamentally
unhealthy about people’s perception that leads to the disharmony
they experience. It became clear to him that, regardless of what
form of treatment people receive, they will continue to experience
needless stress and illness unless they challenge the way they have
been conditioned to think.
He saw how much
this conditioning has led people to exhaust their lives trying to
prove that they were good enough to themselves and others, and knew
it had to be overcome in order to allow for healthier living. Born
on the Mountaintop is the course that provides the tools and
insights to do exactly that.
"When we first developed Born on the Mountaintop, I couldn't
wait to share it with people. I feel
fortunate to be part of something that affects people on the deep
level that I always strove for in health care. This course helps take people to a center of total acceptance of themselves
and their surroundings. And that is one of the keys to living a free
and healthy life. "
